Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is soon expected to release the Intermediate (class 12th) Arts Stream Results for more than three and a half lakh students who appeared in the examinations earlier this year. Since the results of more than half of the total students, comprising of Science and Commerce stream, who took the examination this year have been published, it is expected that Arts results would be out by 27th or 28th May, 2013.

RULES FOR VERIFICATION OF MARKS 

(i) A Candidate who  has appeared  at an examination conducted  by the Board may apply to  the concerned Regional Officer of the Board for verification of marks in any particular subject. The verification will be restricted to checking whether all the answer's have been evaluated and that there has been no mistake in the totaling of marks for each question in that subject and that the marks have been transferred correctly on the title page of the answer book and to the award list and whether the supplementary answer book(s) attached with the answer book

CBSE Improvement Exam IOP (improvement of performance)

Guidelines: 

1. Improvement Exam can be taken in one or more subjects in the succeeding year only after passing the subject in Class XII.  
2. The examination would take place in March and the result will be declared in May. 
3. A candidate cannot appear for improvement examination in the subjects which he/she failed to pass.

CBSE Private Exam 

A ‘Private Candidate’ means a person who is not a Regular Candidate but, under the provisions of these byelaws, is allowed to undertake and/or appear in the All India/Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination or All India/Delhi Secondary School Examination of the Board. 

CBSE Compartment Exam Rules

1.   A candidate placed in compartment at the Senior School Certificate Examination may reappear at the compartmental examination to be held in July the same year, may avail himself/herself of Second Chance in March/April and Third Chance in July of next year. The candidate will be declared ‘PASS’ provided he/she qualifies the compartmental subjects in which he/she had failed. Syllabus and courses shall be the same as applicable for the candidates of full subjects appearing at the examination in the year concerned.

CBSE Improvement Exam Rules And Regulations

1. A candidate who has passed an examination of the Board may reappear for improvement of performance in one or more subjects in the succeeding year only, however, a candidate who has passed an examination of the Board under Vocational Scheme may reappear for improvement of performance in the main examination in the succeeding year or the following year provided they have not pursued higher studies in the mean time.
