Students who sat for the Diploma Common Entrance Test
(D-CET) in Karnataka held on 16 June got shocked on noticing that the question
paper was the same as the previous year with just a changed order of the
questions. Even the diagrams were the same.
Following this major goof up in the line of Entrance
Examinations, the concerned body has decided to conduct D-CET Exam again in
Karnataka. Students taking up the Diploma Common Entrance Test (D-CET) will sit
for the exam again on 30 June 2013.
The Diploma Common Entrance Test is required by students to
gain admission to professional courses at an undergraduate level. D-CET is an exam held every year in Karnataka
to determine the eligibility of students seeking lateral entry into the second
and third semesters of Engineering courses.
Over 21,000 students will appear in the test across 56
centres, contending for around 16,000 seats in Engineering Programs in various
institutes across Karnataka. No additional fees will be charged for this
remedial test.
