The UPSC will conduct the Civil Services (Main) exam from 1st December to 5th December, 2013 for candidates who had successfully qualified the preliminary exam that was conducted in May this year.
The detailed time table of the exams will be available to the qualified candidates along with their e-admit card.
The successful candidates need to fill up an online detailedapplication form (DAF) anytime between 20 August and 10 September, 2013. The online form is available at www.upscdaf.nic.in
The printed copy of online application form must reach the following address on or before 18 September, 2013.

The envelope containing the application should be super scribed ‘Application for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2013’. Candidates can also submit their application at the UPSC office in person. The Commission will not be responsible for the applications delivered to any other functionary of the Commission.
Applicants must also make sure that they enclose all relevant enclosures relating to educational qualifications, age, community, physical disability along with their application form.
A fee of Rs. 200 needs to be paid through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (not postage stamps.) These stamps may be obtained from the post office and affixed on the application formin the space provided therein.
Female candidates and SC/ ST candidates need not pay any fee.
