Almost a month passed since Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had directed schools to update their websites with details on fee structure, transport facilities, grievances cell and pay scale of teachers by September 15. But, it seems that instructions have fallen on deaf ears as majority of CBSE affiliated schools in Ludhiana have not updated their websites yet.
Among such schools are some prominent names such as Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha Nagar; Sacred Heart Convent School, BRS Nagar; Kundan Vidya Mandir; Bharti Vidya Mandir and Bal Bharti Public School. These schools are yet to update their websites as per the CBSE’s instructions.
And, there are some schools that have updated their websites with just fuzzy or complex details, leaving parents befuddled.
Many parents expressed that they were waiting for the day when they will be able to check and compare the facilities and fee structures of schools which they want their wards to take admissions in.
According to a parent he was curious to know about fee structure, and salaries of teachers, but there was just a blur picture of the updated information on school websites. Many schools have done just the formality by updating only pay scale of the teaching faculty.
